The Camargue Cross is adorned with three tridents at the top, a heart in the center, and a fishtail at the base. This cross is the emblem of Saintes Maries de la Mer in the huge Camargue river delta, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.

Maries de la Mer means 'Marys of the Sea,' which was named from medieval legends of the voyages of the three Marys: Mary of Cleopas, Mary Magdalene, the wife of Jesus, and Mary Salomé, mother of James and John.

The coastal village of Saintes Maries de La Mer, in the Camargue region of France, is enchanted with wild white horses, bulls, and pink flamingos among the marshes. In 1924, Marquis de Baroncelli commissioned the artist Hermann Paul to design an emblem of the Camargue: The Camargue Cross. It has become, above all else, a symbol of love.

Trident- Faith
Heart- Love
Anchor- Hope

Lovingly made by one of our Daughters of the Rose Zoë Pearl, I have had a strong desire to create since I was a little girl. When I found the art of beadwork, I instantly fell in love with this sacred weaving to create beautiful adornments.

I created these earrings to honor Mary Magdalene and remind us of her message of love and feminine mysteries. Her essence has been a profound energy all of my life, and it's a joy to learn more deeply about and from her. Through wearing these earrings, I pray that you can surrender to the gift of unconditional love and wisdom.

Made with glass Miyuki seed beads, gold-plated hooks, and rose quartz. Prayerfully created in the United States.

**There are a 2-3 weeks turn around, as they are all made to order by Zoe.**
