Who Is Venus, Really?

Venus is not merely a planet glimmering in the heavens.
She is the radiant archetype of beauty, eros, and devotion,  the celestial guardian of the sacred garden.

She embodies both the Solar Feminine and the Solar Masculine, harmonizing the polarities of love and light.
Her movement is not random; it is a precise, poetic rhythm,  a living language that speaks of descent, death, and rebirth.

Each alignment of Venus with the Sun is a mirror.
She reflects to us the same passage our souls know by heart,  the journey into the shadow, the surrender into the mystery, and the return to innocence and power.

The Venusian Rose Cycle

Every eight years, Venus draws a perfect five-petaled rose across the sky,  a mandala of divine beauty known as the Venusian Rose Cycle.

This eight-year cycle includes five 19-month synodic periods, each one a “petal” of the cosmic rose.
Every nine and a half months, Venus aligns with the Sun,  alternating between her descent as Morning Star(Phōsphóros, “light bearer”) and her ascent as Evening Star (Hésperos, “western light”).

Through this choreography, she paints the heavens with the Heart of the Rose — revealing herself as the Keeper of the Rose Lineage, the teacher of how love spirals through creation.

What Is the Venusian Underworld?

The Venusian Rose Underworld begins when Venus slips behind the Sun and becomes invisible from Earth’s view.

It is here that she journeys through the deep feminine terrain of shadow and remembrance,  the womb-space of purification and renewal.

This is not the death of Venus.
It is her metamorphosis, the moment she removes her crowns and jewels, surrendering everything false, so that she may be reborn in truth.

Like the ancient goddess Inanna, who descended through seven gates of the Underworld, shedding her adornments at each threshold, we too are called to strip down to our essence,  to meet the parts of ourselves that have been exiled, silenced, or unseen.

This is the time to make peace with the dark, to fall in love with what is raw, uncomfortable, and profoundly real.

The Heart of the Underworld, 16° Capricorn, January 6

At the midpoint of this Underworld journey, Venus reaches her Grand Exterior (Superior) Conjunction, occurring at 16° Capricorn on January 6.

This is a holy trinity in the heavens,  the Sun, Venus, and Earth in perfect alignment.
Venus is furthest from Earth, fully immersed in solar radiance, invisible to our eyes, yet more luminous than ever in spirit.

This is the heart of the Underworld,  the solar womb of purification, where everything that has been shed during the descent alchemizes into grace, clarity, and embodied power.

Though unseen, this is the most luminous point in the cycle.:
It’s where we remember that darkness isn’t the opposite of light,  it’s the womb that births it.

How to Walk the Venusian Underworld with Grace & Power

The descent is not punishment,  it is preparation.
It is the recalibration of the feminine nervous system so that we can receive more pleasure, more love, more truth in our lives.

When we resist the descent, we fragment.
When we lean in, we regenerate.
To descend consciously is to make love to the mystery itself.

Below are five ways to align with this sacred passage.

1 · Stop Saying Yes

The Underworld is contraction,  the exhale after the bloom.

This is the time to simplify your life,  to stop overcommitting, to release the performative “yes,” and to honor your inner winter.

You may still need to work, parent, or show up,  but you can do so at a different pace.
Move in rhythm with your body.

Don’t start new projects, relationships, or endeavors unless they are guided by deep peace.
This season asks you to turn your energy inward and allow your field to rest.

Just as Venus turns invisible, you are being invited into stillness, to nourish what already exists, not plant new seeds just yet.

2 · Create Spaciousness for Your Shadows

Every shadow deserves a stage.

This is when the suppressed aspects of your femininity surface,  the wild woman, the jealous one, the erotic one, the exhausted one, the parts that ache to be met with love.

Don’t suppress them.
Give them space through sacred practice:

• Dance, move, and shake.

• Breathe deeply into your belly.

• Write prayers, poems, or confessions.

• Let your holy, untamed truth have form.

It’s not about acting it out,  it’s about creating a conscious container for that energy to move through safely.

The myth of Inanna teaches us that every descent is a ceremony of release.

You may be called to let go of relationships, identities, or old patterns that no longer fit the truth of who you are becoming.

Move slowly.
Let go with love, not rage.
Allow grief to soften you rather than harden you.

This is not about burning everything down, it’s about creating spaciousness for the new to emerge.

Every death in your life is compost for the next bloom.

4 · Stay Resourced & Protected

Your word is your wand. Your womb is your altar.

This is the time to strengthen your spiritual hygiene, your prayer, your grounding, your energy protection.

• Speak your prayers aloud each morning.

• Envision light sealing your home and body.

• Nourish yourself with ancestral foods, sacred oils, and beauty rituals.

Let God’s Word seed truth into your womb.
Let every falsity dissolve in that light.

If your business slows or income dips, trust it.
The feminine isn’t meant to bloom endlessly.
This is the composting phase,  the fertile darkness that prepares your next 19-month cycle of life and creation.

5 · Cover Your Head & Rest into the Masculine

This is the season to veil your crown and protect your temple.

Allow yourself to rest into masculine provision, divine and human.
If you have a partner, communicate your need for support and protection.
If you are single, call upon the masculine principle of life itself to hold you, the Holy Father, the structures of creation, and your own inner discipline.

Know when she desires slowness, when she’s fertile and radiant, when she’s tender and needs quiet.

A woman’s body is a living temple of creation, and her nervous system was designed for receptivity, bonding, and nurture while the masculine nervous system evolved for protection, provision, and focus. Neither is superior; both are sacred. True union comes when you learn to harmonize these designs instead of expecting sameness. When you slow to meet her timing, you help her heal centuries of rushed love.

She is not a puzzle to solve. She is a garden to tend and an altar to revere. The feminine opens to what is safe, consistent, and deeply attuned. When rushed, she performs. When honored, she prays.

This phase marks the completion of a 19-month cycle and a release of old, unhealthy habits connected to how you give and receive love, how you experience pleasure, and how you express your sexuality.  It invites us to reflect on our most intimate relationships—those connected to love, sex, money, beauty, and all the aspects contributing to intimacy.

It’s a period of heightened sensitivity surrounding our relationships with love, sex, beauty, and money. This increased awareness allows us to deepen our connection to the things we cherish and learn to love the aspects we may struggle with.

I prefer to call Venus retrograde the “union phase,” as it supports us in coming into union with all things truly meant for us and supports us in letting go of all the things that aren’t.

At The Rose Lineage, I draw parallels between the Venus and feminine cycles. Like the feminine cycle, Venus astrology has four phases at each star point. The retrograde or union phase of Venus is akin to ovulation in the feminine cycle. During this time, Venus is closest to Earth and positioned between the Sun and Earth, making love with Venus as the love child.

This alignment creates a trinity-based consciousness of union. To cultivate the relationships we desire in this lifetime, we must embrace this trinity-based consciousness, with God at its center.

Restoring Our Worth and Navigating Love with Power and Grace

In a world where modern relationships often blur the sacred dance between masculine and feminine, it is vital that we, as women, reclaim our worth, embody our power, and restore the divine order of love. Too often, we lower our standards, compromise our essence, and seek external validation rather than remembering our inherent value as sacred, magnetic, and deeply intuitive beings. It is time to shift the narrative and embody our truth.

He Pursues, and She Approves

The natural flow of masculine and feminine polarity is pursuit and reception. The masculine thrives in the energy of seeking, conquering, and proving himself, while the feminine, in her power, chooses to approve or decline his advances. When we allow this sacred dance to unfold as designed, both the man and the woman find deep fulfillment.

A man must earn entrance to your temple because you are a treasure beyond measure. He may say he wants access to you freely, but in truth, he craves the process of earning it. This is the nature of masculine energy—it finds value in what is worked for and protected. When we give access too soon, we bypass this vital initiation process and risk being undervalued.

The Power of Attraction Over Pursuit

Many women have been conditioned to chase, to prove their worth, and to convince a man of their value. But chasing is not in the feminine’s authentic nature. The feminine is magnetic—she attracts, she does not pursue. A queen does not leave her throne to run after a man; she sits in her power and allows the right one to lean in.

This is how both masculine and feminine win. A genuine relationship can begin when a man steps into his role as a pursuer and a woman remains rooted in her magnetism. This creates balance, harmony, and a foundation of mutual respect.

Becoming Irreplaceable to a Man

A woman who understands her power knows she does not need to convince a man to stay. Instead, she embodies her radiance, softness, and depth in an irreplaceable way. When you make a man feel how he desires to feel—strong, respected, and inspired—he will naturally be drawn to you. But this does not mean shrinking yourself to fit his needs. Instead, it means standing in your grace, knowing that your presence is a gift.

The Value of Boundaries and Self-Worth

Allowing a man to value your time will determine how he values you. A man must feel that your presence is earned, not given freely without discernment. This means saying no when necessary, honoring your needs, and not being overly available.

A woman who constantly says yes, is always available, and gives without boundaries may be considered convenient but not necessarily valuable. Men, by nature, are wired to appreciate what they must work for. Sometimes, saying no shows a man that you are a woman of worth, that you respect yourself, and that your energy is sacred.

Access and Sacredness: Not Every Man Deserves Your Temple

Access creates blindness. When something is too readily available, it often loses its perceived value. This is why walking away from a man who is not sure about you is crucial.

A man should not have full access to your heart, time, energy, and body without first proving himself worthy. Your temple is sacred, and entrance must be earned. Giving too much too soon often leads to imbalance and a lack of appreciation. Let a man prove through consistent actions that he is worthy of receiving your essence.

Wife Raises the Standard

A woman of deep value does not settle for being treated as an option. She is a queen, an oracle, a sacred partner. She understands she is not meant to mother or fix a man. A wife raises the standards, holds him to the higher standard and raises the bar for him to rise. What are the Venusian Rose Temple Arts?

The Venusian Rose Temple Arts is a temple template that restores the original and erotic innocence to the whole world’s consciousnesses. This sacred temple template is a transmission from the trinity of teachers (Heart, Womb, and Yoni) that live within your body–it has the direct blueprint on how to awaken into the highest version of your feminine form.

Currently, eight physical Venusian Rose Temples activate the eternal flames of the feminine; they act the solar feminine arts from within. What is Venus Astrology?

The origin point of the Rose Lineage is Venus. Our beloved planet Venus is the sister twin guardian of our solar system, earth–the Blue Pearl. Venus supports us as we transition into the New Earth Star.

Venus, the orbiting star of remembrance, traces a pattern in the sky that looks like a five-pointed star or five-petaled wild Rose. Venus’s dance is the dance of the heart, the essence of the rose, the sky story, and the earth’s mythos are making love.

This eight-year Venusian Rose Cycle is woven in sidereal space. It comprises five synoptic periods that take 19 months to complete each.

The Sun and Venus align every 9 ½ months. Each time Venus crosses paths with the Sun, she alternates between descending into the Morning Star phase (Greek Phōsphóros, meaning “light-bearer”) and ascending into the Evening Star phase (Greek Hésperos, meaning “western”).

There are also two subphases. The Union Phase or Interior (inferior) conjunction means Venus is between the Sun and the earth, where she begins. After going through an interior conjunction, Venus appears as a Morning Star.

The Underworld Phase or exterior (superior) conjunction means Venus is behind the Sun, far from earth. After going through an exterior conjunction, Venus appears as an Evening Star.

Venus’s patterns are gorgeous–they are the heart of the rose. They reveal Venus’s essence as the celestial guardian of the sacred Rose Garden of Eden.

The dance of the Sun, Venus, and Earth: their retrograde motions, synodic periods, distance, and orbits present us with patterns that resonate deeply with the ancient origin point of the pure mythos of the Rose Lineage of Solar Masculine and Feminine Christ.

What are Venus Gateways?

Venus Gateways are energetic time portals, merging the ancient and futuristic forward timelines.

They happen every Venus-Moon conjunction. They are like a new and full moon but serve you more intimately because, unlike the new and full moon, no one knows about the potency of these gateways.

These gateways are doorways into trinity-based consciousness, where we may slowly learn to move from the point of separation into a union of all things.

As we merge into a reality that no longer divides and separates, it teaches us how to create from the space of the trinity.

What is this trinity?

It is the holy family convent, the father, the mother, and you, the holy child. The perfection of these templates forever blows me away. They are timeless, infinite, and seamless.

They are consistent yet ever-changing, like nature’s sacred cycles and rhythm. They have held humanity for countless seasons and will hold us for many more.

The Venusian Rose Cycle has guided many connected, powerful, and successful civilizations through the seasons for thousands of years. By successful civilizations, I mean those that flourished and aligned with the earth and the rhythms of all that give us life.

As we enter the final month of winter in the northern hemisphere, we also approach the end of the Evening Star Phase in the Venusian Rose Cycle. This signifies that the full expression of the dark integrated feminine is almost ready to emerge and be celebrated as she comes into union with all parts of herself.

Venus will soon begin her retrograde, or as I like to call it, the Union Phase. On March 1st, Venus will retrograde until April 12th, a 42-day retrograde. The last time Venus was retrograde was in 2022, July 22nd, Mary Magdalene Feast Day, a 44-day retrograde.

Venus aligns between the Sun and Earth during this time, hence the name Union Phase. This is when Venus is in front of the Sun, closest to the Earth.

This is a phase of reflection, integration, and completion of all that has occurred in the last 19 months.

I want to share some guidance to support you during this phase of Venus:

☥ Be gentle with yourself and others. As Venus goes retrograde, deep healing can occur. Stay open and receptive, especially around matters of love, sex, money, beauty, and intimacy. Take time to reflect and reevaluate your relationships.

☥ Practice intentional sensual celibacy: Deepen your relationship with yourself and God. If you’re in a relationship, consider incorporating more ceremonial or Venusian expressions into your connection.

☥ Avoid significant, hasty investments: Unless already planned or strongly aligned, it’s best to avoid significant investments during this time that you haven’t already been planning.

☥ Refrain from drastic appearance changes: Trust me on this one—avoid significant hair, cosmetic, or aesthetic changes until after the retrograde.

☥ Explore your edges of intimacy: Deepen intimacy with yourself, your loved ones, life, and God. If you’re single and dating, take things slower than usual, as emotions and desires may be heightened. Trust your intuition and listen to your body.

Personal Venusian Rose Integration Story

Almost four years after having Isvara, months of up and down emotions and celibacy healing some of my most prominent core masculine/feminine wounds, hours of unwavering devotion, and the most conscious commitment to my The Divine Mother. I am now eight months pregnant with my baby Rosebud, my dream Venusian Rose Garden planted in the backyard by myself and our sacred sisterhood of the Rose, Kauai. My dream in person sisterhood has untied on Kaua’i, and a karmic divine union relationship finding a way through the mess of the mind, back to the heart has anchored.

This hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows; I am sure there are many parts I have left out and could never even put into words. This previous eight years of descent and ascent through the mirrors of the Venus-Inanna archetypes have been a wild ride of deep devotional surrender. I pray that this next eight-year cycle, I can attune deeper to the roots of the Rose Lineage and be lifted by the heavenly scent of the celestial Rose to be of more sacred service to be a crystal clear emanation of The Divine Mother. May I walk the beauty way with grace, ease, abundance, joy, and love.
